This is a hybrid event, and will be held both in person and online.

You are invited to the SAG-AFTRA San Francisco-Northern California Local hybrid membership meeting — at the office or online! 

Join us to engage in important discussions about your union and connect with fellow members.  

Light hors d'oeuvres will be served.

Virtual Zoom link will be provided by email the day of the meeting.

About Our Guest Speakers:

Kerri Wood Einertson is the Executive Director of Government Affairs & Public Policy at SAG-AFTRA. In this role, Kerri oversees government affairs for the union, where the focus is on local, state and federal issues affecting performers, including production tax incentives and anything involving a government entity that helps SAG-AFTRA members thrive. In 2022, Kerri was appointed to the California Film Commission. She also serves on several nonprofit boards, including Children’s Musical Theater San Jose. Prior to SAG-AFTRA, Kerri worked for several years on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. She is fluent in Spanish and speaks it as often as possible. Kerri is a longtime member of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses. She is a native of Los Angeles and a graduate of USC. Kerri currently lives in the East Bay with her husband, two daughters and a very special German Shorthaired Pointer mix. 

Manijeh Fata is the Executive Director of Film SF at the San Francisco Film Commission where she has worked since 2015. In her role, she has led and collaborated on numerous high-profile film, TV and independent productions, including The Last Black Man in San Francisco, The Matrix Resurrections, Venom, Beautiful Boy, Fremont, Fairyland, Food Network’s Chef Dynasty: House of Fang, Hulu’s Chance, Amazon's I’m a Virgo, Apple’s The Last Thing He Told Me and Surface, and Netflix’s The OA. Her work has involved extensive coordination, forging relationships with studios, local filmmakers, city departments, and neighborhood and merchant groups. With over 20 years of experience in arts and education program management, Manijeh has also developed impactful community outreach initiatives and built partnerships with non-profit organizations in Oakland and San Francisco. She holds two bachelor’s degrees from UC Berkeley and an MFA in Cinema from San Francisco State University, where she created the award-winning short film Las Fruteras: A Fruitvale Tale.

This event is only open to active SAG-AFTRA members in good standing (paid through April 30, 2025 or Oct. 31, 2025). No guests are allowed. Parents/guardians of performers under 18 years old are welcome.
